The Oxygenstore provides portable medical oxygen delivery systems ideal for immediate care or mobile oxygen therapy. These systems are compact and have a cylinder, regulator, and oxygen therapy mask attached. They are user-friendly, robust, and low-profile. Other features include high accuracy, a shut-off valve, a contents gauge, a flow selector, and all brass high-pressure components.
ADVICE FOR DENTAL PRACTICES
According to Paragraph 44, part 5 of Schedule 3, and the regulations for NHS GDS contracts and NHS Personal Dental Services Agreements in 2005, Primary Care Trusts can visit any practice premises where practitioners with an NHS dental care contract are based.
As part of the checklist, there should be a Medical Oxygen Cylinder with a regulator that can deliver a flow rate of at least 10 litres per minute on the premises, along with a reducing valve, flow meter, tubing, non-rebreathing oxygen mask, and suitable connectors. The minimum size cylinder should be 340 litres. During the check, it will be asked if the emergency oxygen cylinder and regulator are regularly maintained and whether the oxygen within the cylinder has been renewed in the last three years.
Please be aware that the MHRA controls Medical Oxygen Cylinders, which are unavailable for direct sale to the general public. We can only supply them to GPs, dentists, veterinarians, or other suitably qualified professionals, and we may require verification of the purchaser's qualification before despatching medical oxygen orders.
